My Journey

My journey begun in 2006 when I first tried a Yoga class as an alternative for a work out and as many students I was instantly hooked after that first class.

The feeling in Savasana made me curious enough to come back to the class. At the beginning I was practicing only 2-3 times a week, but suddenly I not only found myself practicing 4-5 times a week, but I wanted to learn as much as I could about Yoga and its philosophy, reading books, magazines and going to workshops.

What I found in Yoga goes beyond a work out, every time I step on my Yoga mat is truly a journey into my inner world, into those emotions that we tent to block in our day to day activities, into my body, and into my breath. The way my body, my mind and my breath are at the beginning of the practice are not the same when I step out of my mat. And it is there where the real work starts, it is there where the challenge began…in the daily life.

Because Yoga has changed the way I look at the world, but most important the way I look at myself, I was guided to share this amazing practice with others. In 2009 I enrolled in 200hrs yoga training certification thru “True Flow Yoga”.

While teaching and practicing yoga and meditation, I discovered that, as many of us, I had emotional wounds. As a human being in this journey that we call life, is inevitable that society, certain situations, life itself create us emotional wounds that we learn to clutter in our closet of emotions.

As an open being that I try to be, one day I tried a Reiki session. I didn’t understand exactly what it was about, but I decided to give it a try. The energy flowing through all my body was indescribable, but truly amazing. After that session I felt more in peace, more calm with those emotions, and it was inevitable that I wanted to learn and to share this incredible healing technique with others, so I enroll into Reiki I, II, III and Master certification.

Reiki have changed my life in a deep level. I have healed wounds from many, many years ago, wounds that I was never able to face them. I have grief them, healed them, and let them go.

Yoga and Reiki have been a truly internal healing journey for me, and so today I tried to combine these two incredible techniques and share them, so other human beings can clean their emotional closet, let go and re-discover the divinity within them.

Today I teach yoga classes in different wellness centers. In a yoga class I try to take to the students to their physical and mental edges, encouraging them to accept their selves as they are without judging, after all a “perfect asana (pose)” can be achieved not from how you look, but from how you feel it, from the inside out. I believe that yoga is not only a combination of asanas that can make you sweat and lose weight, but also a tool to find the truth about yourself.

Every time I give a Reiki session I feel blessed to be a channel of the universal energy, and to be able to hold that sacred space in which a human being can be healed in so many levels.

I am currently offering Reiki session, in person and distance sessions through Skype.

I also offer workshops in California and Peru combining Reiki and Yoga.,
